THE MAILER

OK. Enclosed I have my 2 specimen tubes, my release form signed and lastly the invoice with a check for payment. It's ready to be sealed and put into the mail. Next step is to put the proper stamp on it, bring it to the mailbox and put the flag up. I can't wait for the results. I hope they will connect many of us and provide information that will allow us to further complete our fantastic family tree.

I've managed to trace my family back to Nicholas County, West Virginia as far back as the early 1800's. Those pioneer Dorseys claim to have come from Maryland. The only proven Maryland records I have found is the marriage of John Dorsey and Arah Stockdale on September 29, 1791 in Baltimore County. After having a few children in Maryland, they came to the wilderness of West Virginia where they settled on the shores of 20 Mile Creek. Wouldn't it be great to find a Dorsey from Maryland with matching genetic markers?
