THE SPECIMEN TUBE
The kit comes with 2 small specimen tubes. I chose the tube marked "A" to place my first scraper into. I think I'll use specimen tube "B" for the second scraping that I must do in 8 hours.
Carefully I place the scraper into the specimen tube which contains a soapy solution.
Next I gently push on the plunger at the end of the applicator stick which pushed the scraper tip into the tube. I tightly screwed the cap back onto the tube to ensure the quality of my first DNA sample. This was so easy and so exciting that in 8 hours I will do it again!
